EMU PARK & GREAT KEPPEL ISLAND
Emu Park is a cool little coastal town located in the centre of Queensland. Enjoy the local hospitality and awesome quadshare rooms which are bunk bed free – woo!
As the sun always shines in Queensland you can kick back a relax poolside, or try your hand at the old Aussie tradition of barefoot lawn bowls over the road (best played with plenty of beers).
Outside of the resort Emu Park has plenty of adventure for you to get your teeth into. Speak to your guide and head to the local crocodile farm to meet the beasts first hand, or why not head out to Bluff Point and spot turtles!
Our must-do activity is visiting Great Keppel Island, home to 17 different beaches, the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef and heaps of wildlife, it’s a true tropical escape. Spend the day on the Island, take part in the famous Loka treasure hunt (worth it for the prize), relax, snorkel the reef and make your friends at home very jealous.
All travellers heading north on a Mick, Kat and Stu pass, you’ll be spending 1 night/1 full day at Emu Park but those arriving on a Saturday will be spending 2 nights / 2 days.
Loka Treasure Island Package – book via the Loka web app or through your guide.
